The Hydro UF 64 Ultrafiltration System is a high-performance water filtration module designed for surface water treatment, potable water production, and wastewater recovery. It features advanced polyethersulfone (PES) membranes, high bacteria and virus removal efficiency, and low fouling properties, making it ideal for industrial and municipal applications.
Typically 10-21 working days – excluding furniture and heavy/bulky equipment. Please contact us for further information.
Description
Ultrafiltration Systems are membrane filtration systems that provide the removal of turbidity, bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms up to 99% of suspended solids without the need for chemical use with a membrane structure with a pore diameter of 0.02 micron.
Besides the perfect filtration of surface waters, ultrafiltration modules allow conventional biological and chemical treatment effluents to be fed to reverse osmosis systems, have an important place in wastewater recovery projects and are widely used in the pre-treatment of seawater osmosis systems.
UF Systems are also used successfully in food sector and beverage processes, natural drinking water preparation factories, bacteria intake and indirect disinfection of water and many special processes.
Features:
- Advanced Membrane Technology: Uses a polyethersulfone (PES) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) hydrophilic membrane for high filtration efficiency.
- Ultra-Fine Filtration: Nominal pore size of 20 nm for effective removal of bacteria, viruses, and suspended solids.
- High Efficiency: Achieves 99.9999% (LOG6) bacteria removal and 99.99% (LOG4) virus reduction.
- Multiple Operating Modes: Supports feed-and-bleed, dead-end filtration, and backwash cycles for optimized performance.
- Chemical Compatibility: Resistant to sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, chlorine dioxide, acids, and bases, allowing flexible cleaning options.
- Robust Construction: Made with PVC housing, PU resin potting, and PVC/PP flow distributors for durability.
- Wide pH Range: Operates between pH 2-12 (filtration) and pH 1-13 (cleaning).
- Compact and Lightweight Design: Weighs approximately 34 kg (dry) and 66 kg (wet) for easy handling and installation.
Advantages:
- Superior Water Quality: Ensures ultra-low turbidity (<0.1 NTU) and high SDI (<3), making it ideal for drinking water and industrial applications.
- Low Fouling & Long Lifespan: Hydrophilic membranes provide excellent antifouling properties, reducing maintenance and extending service life.
- Versatile Applications: Suitable for surface water treatment, wastewater reuse, seawater pre-treatment, and beverage production.
- Efficient Backwash System: Uses permeate water for backwashing, minimizing water waste and ensuring membrane longevity.
- Cost-Effective Operation: High recovery rates reduce energy and chemical consumption, making it a sustainable filtration solution.
