Complete Solution for Pure Tone Audiometry
Neuro-Audio/PTA allows measuring air and bone conduction hearing thresholds manually or automatically (Hughson-Westlake test). You can select any stimulation frequency from 125 up to 8000 Hz.
Compact Size and Low Weight
The electronic unit is connected to PC with one USB cable which powers the device and supports data transmission. While visiting your patients, just put Neuro-Audio/PTA in the laptop bag.
Configurable Masking Noise
Pure tone testing without the contralateral ear masking is used successfully to identify hearing threshold levels in individuals with normal hearing or bilateral hearing loss. But it can’t be used in patients with unilateral hearing loss or bilateral asymmetric hearing loss. While testing a worse-hearing ear, the tone intensity is so high that it can spread through the skull to the contralateral (normal or better-hearing) ear. The masking of non-tested ear by broad band or narrow band noise helps to avoid misleading results. Neuro-Audio/PTA allows you to adjust the intensity of masking noise in both absolute and relative values.
Ultimate Set of Transducers
The delivery set of Neuro-Audio/PTA includes TDH-39 headphones, the most popular headphones model for PTA testing in the world.
We can optionally supply ER-3C insert earphones (to reduce the need for masking as they have better sound insulation), B-71 bone vibrator (for bone conduction testing to determine the type of hearing loss), sound field speakers (for testing in acoustic free fields), and TDH-39 acoustically shielded headphones with better sound insulation.
